Ask
kennel owner Ken Davis about his dogs and he begins to smile. He refers
to them as his guys and girls. They are all part of a team.
Primarily a sprint racing kennel, Elfstone has been going
strong for fifteen years. What started out as a hobby has become a
full-time job - and Ken wouldn't have it any other way.
His racing
crew is comprised of 22 dogs, all Alaskan Huskies
and
Pointer crosses. Elfstone Kennel has also taken on an international
flair
of sorts - Ken is a coach and host to Damion Robb, one of the
Jamaica Dogsled Team mushers for the 2012 racing season!

Congratulations to Elfstone Kennel who received a silver medal for
their 6 dog team and a bronze medal for their 4 dog team with the
International Sleddog Racing Association for dryland racing, 2010 -
2011!
